4) Cookies

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your device. Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit (so-called persistent cookies).

Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can find the storage duration of each cookie in your browser’s cookie settings.

Some cookies help simplify the ordering process (e.g., remembering the contents of a virtual shopping cart for a later visit). If personal data is processed by individual cookies implemented by us, the processing is carried out either in accordance with Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR for contract performance, in accordance with Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR in case of consent, or in accordance with Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR to protect our legitimate interest in the best possible functionality of the website and customer-friendly, effective site design.

5) Contacting Us

When contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data is collected. The specific data collected through a contact form is evident from the form itself. This data is used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If the purpose of your contact is to enter into a contract, an additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted after your inquiry has been fully processed, provided that it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter has been conclusively resolved and there are no legal retention obligations.

6) Data Processing for Account Creation and Contract Execution

According to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, personal data is also collected and processed if you provide it to us for the performance of a contract or the opening of a customer account. The specific data collected can be seen from the respective input forms. You can delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the controller listed above. We store and use the data you provide for contract processing. After the contract has been fully executed or your customer account has been deleted, your data will be blocked and deleted after the applicable tax and commercial retention periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we have reserved the right to further data use permitted by law.

7) Use of Customer Data for Direct Marketing

7.1 Newsletter Subscription

If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only required information for receiving the newsletter is your email address. Providing additional data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter. This means we will only send you the newsletter if you have explicitly confirmed that you consent to receiving newsletters. You will then receive a confirmation email asking you to confirm your subscription by clicking a link.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. When you register for the newsletter, we store your IP address as provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), along with the date and time of registration, to trace any potential misuse of your email address at a later time. The data collected during newsletter registration will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in the newsletter or by contacting the controller mentioned at the beginning. After unsubscribing, your email address will be immediately removed from our newsletter distribution list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use it in a manner permitted by law, which we inform you about in this statement.

7.2 Sending Newsletters to Existing Customers

If you have provided us with your email address when purchasing goods or services, we may send you regular offers for similar goods or services from our range by email. In this case, we do not require separate consent under § 7(3) of the German Unfair Competition Act (UWG). The data processing is based solely on our legitimate interest in personalized direct advertising according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you initially objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, you will not receive emails from us. You can object to the use of your email address for this advertising purpose at any time with future effect by notifying the controller named above. You will only incur transmission costs based on standard rates. Once your objection is received, the use of your email address for advertising will be immediately stopped.

8) Data Processing for Order Handling

8.1 To the extent necessary for the performance of the contract, your personal data will be passed on to the shipping company responsible for delivery and the credit institution handling payment, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. If we owe you updates for goods with digital elements or for digital products based on a corresponding contract, we will use your contact details (name, address, email) provided during the order to inform you personally about updates via an appropriate communication channel (e.g., by post or email) within the legally prescribed period in accordance with Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Your contact data will be strictly used for communication about owed updates and only processed to the extent necessary.

Additionally, we work with the following service providers to process your order, who support us partially or fully in fulfilling contracts. Certain personal data will be transmitted to these service providers as outlined below.

8.2 Use of Payment Service Providers (Payment Services)

  • PayPal
If you choose payment via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal, or—if offered—"purchase on account" or "installment payment" via PayPal, your payment data will be transmitted to PayPal (Europe) S.a.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg ("PayPal") for payment processing. This is done in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and only to the extent necessary.

For some methods (e.g., credit card or installment payment), PayPal may carry out a credit check. For this purpose, your data may be shared with credit agencies under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on PayPal’s legitimate interest in determining your creditworthiness. The result may include probability values ("score values") calculated through scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical methods. These may include address data. For more information, including details of the credit agencies used, please refer to PayPal’s privacy policy:
https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full

You may object to this data processing at any time by contacting PayPal. However, PayPal may still be entitled to process your personal data if it is necessary for contractual payment processing.

If you choose to pay via Wix Payments, payment is processed through Wix HQ, 6350671, Nemal Tel Aviv St 40, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel ("Wix"). Wix Payments supports all common credit card types and other region-specific payment methods. The available options will be shown to you on our website.

Wix collects your payment data (e.g., payment amount, payment method info, recipient data) and your confirmation that the data is correct to process the payment, under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. This data may also be transmitted to Wix Inc., 500 Terry A. Francois Boulevard, San Francisco, California 94158, USA.
